Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Salary Counter Overlay and the Salary Counter web app handle user-provided salary and schedule settings.

Information we process

The product processes only the information that you enter yourself, such as monthly salary, work schedule, lunch break times, holidays, overlay position, theme preference, and other local settings needed to run the counter.

How data is used

Your settings are used solely to calculate and display salary progress in real time, including daily earnings, hourly and per-minute rates, and workday progress.

Storage

Salary Counter stores settings locally in your browser. The extension uses browser local storage to remember your configuration, overlay state, and display preferences between sessions.

Data sharing

We do not sell, transfer, or share your salary settings or work schedule with third parties. The product does not use your data for advertising, analytics, credit scoring, or unrelated profiling.

Website access in the extension

The extension requests host access so it can render the floating overlay on the web pages you choose to view. It is not designed to collect webpage content, browsing history, account credentials, or personal messages from those pages.

Remote code

The extension does not fetch or execute remote JavaScript or Wasm at runtime. Its executable code is packaged with the extension itself.
